With 60 years of experience, the WBG is poised to support the sector becoming an engine of growth and jobs through improving policies and governance, foundational infrastructure and private sector investments. The WBG lending in the sector is expected to grow substantially. The Infrastructure VPU’s objectives in driving outcomes include replicating and scaling effective solutions, enhancing thought leadership and innovation, and delivering timely knowledge to client teams. This vacancy announcement is for one position posted across multiple possible duty stations. That includes New Delhi, India and Washington DC. The selected candidate's duty station will be determined based on organizational requirements and business needs.
The ET Consultant’s (ETC) primary role will be to support Industry Specialists in technical due diligence of potential and on-going real estate decarbonization projects. Working closely with IFC’s Industry Specialists, IFC’s contracted consulting firm(s), and client/client’s local consultant(s), the ETC will either lead or provide support in the following areas for Decarbonizing Real Estate for Impact and Value Enhancement (DRIVE) projects:
