MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ecommerce Marketing Strategy & Activation (Pure Players)
Lead the development and execution of the Pure Players marketing strategy, ensuring strong alignment with brand calendars, key launches, and regional priorities.
Own the end-to-end online activation calendar, including campaigns, hero moments, and retailer-driven events.
Drive best-in-class visibility across all retailer touchpoints, including homepage takeovers, category placements, brand pages, newsletters, push notifications, apps, and social media integrations.
Negotiate and secure high-impact exposure packages with retailers, ensuring priority access to premium placements, seasonal campaigns, and key commercial moments.
Lead the execution of online exclusivities, pre-launches, and hero SKU amplification, positioning Pure Players as priority partners within the Shiseido ME ecosystem.
Ensure strong alignment between brand storytelling and retailer execution, elevating content quality, consistency, and positioning across platforms.
Continuously identify innovative activation opportunities (e.g., livestreaming, influencer integrations, social-first campaigns, platform-specific features) to differentiate the brands and drive engagement.
2. Retail Media & Performance Activation
Define and lead retailer media strategy and investments across Pure Players, ensuring optimal allocation of budgets to maximize visibility and conversion.
Manage and optimize e-retail media campaigns (sponsored listings, search ads, social amplification), ensuring strong ROI and alignment with campaign objectives.
Set clear KPIs for media performance (visibility share, CTR, conversion, ROAS where applicable) and continuously optimize campaigns with retailers.
Collaborate with retailers on data-sharing and reporting to improve campaign effectiveness and inform future investment decisions.
Challenge retailer proposals to ensure high-value exposure and measurable impact, leveraging internal benchmarks and competitive insights.
3. Content, Digital Shelf & Brand Experience
Own digital shelf excellence across Pure Players, ensuring consistent and premium execution of product pages, imagery, descriptions, and brand environments.
Ensure best-in-class search visibility, category ranking, and assortment visibility, optimizing discoverability across all platforms.
Coordinate creative assets, animations, translations, and exposure materials with internal stakeholders and agencies.
Guarantee that all online executions reflect brand guidelines and local market relevance
Continuously monitor competitor activity and benchmark best-in-class ecommerce executions across premium beauty.
4. Launches & Exclusivities
Act as the key driver to secure priority launches and exclusivity moments for Pure Players, building strong cases with brand teams.
Partner closely with brands to define 360° launch strategies, ensuring strong retailer amplification through media, content, and visibility.
Ensure seamless execution of launches across all dimensions:
Maximize impact of hero launches through integrated retailer campaigns and amplification plans
5. Commercial Management & Trade Planning
Support business growth through strong commercial fundamentals, ensuring alignment with marketing priorities.
Develop forecasts and manage orders in collaboration with supply chain and retailers, ensuring optimal stock availability.
Manage promotional plans, trade investments, and rebate budgets, ensuring alignment with agreed activations and ROI targets.
Monitor sell-in performance and ensure strong execution of commercial agreements and trade terms.
6. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Pure Players across marketing, media, and commercial topics
Build strong relationships with retailer teams to unlock greater visibility, innovation opportunities, and preferential support
Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
Act as the voice of Pure Players internally, ensuring alignment on priorities, opportunities, and performance.
7. Data & Insights
Track and analyze key sell-out and marketing KPIs
Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights and optimization recommendations
Leverage retailer data and market insights to continuously refine activation strategies and investment decisions.
Identify growth opportunities through data-driven decision-making and competitive benchmarking
KPIs
Sell-out Performance: Revenue vs. target, YoY growth, contribution by retailer and brand
Marketing Performance: Visibility share, campaign ROI, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, engagement metrics
Media Efficiency: ROI, campaign effectiveness (ROAS, CTR, impressions, etc)
Execution Excellence: Launch performance, campaign delivery, digital shelf compliance
Commercial Fundamentals: Forecast accuracy, stock availability, promo ROI, budget control
Profile & Skills
Experience:
5/6 years in ecommerce, e-retail, digital marketing, or e-key account roles, ideally within beauty or luxury
Strong experience in Pure Players / e- retailers with a clear focus on marketing and activation
Proven track record in driving sell-out through media, visibility, and activation strategies
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of retailer media ecosystems, onsite visibility levers, and ecommerce activations
Experience managing digital campaigns, content strategy, and online merchandising
Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Good understanding of commercial levers (forecasting, budgeting, trade planning)
Soft Skills:
Strong negotiation skills with ability to secure high-value visibility and partnerships
Creative and strategic mindset, with strong attention to detail
Highly collaborative, with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven
Languages:
English required, Arabic appreciated
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
