Stolt Tankers a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist in transporting bulk liquids: Chemicals, clean petroleum products, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. As part of this, we are rolling out Continuous Improvement training to all our shore-based and seagoing colleagues.

What you will be doing

As our E-Learning Associate, you will handle developing and maintaining our in-house e-learnings according to the processes set and using all available means to ensure they are current and effective in reaching their objective for the onboard and ashore employees.

With a customer base of over 4000 seafarers, your work will have a significant visibility across the company and impact directly on their knowledge and awareness. Currently the in-house content contains over 50 modules and the list for development is endless, seeing the large diversity of tasks and subjects of the onboard crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development
    • Develop and design e-learning material as per Stolt tankers requirements and standards, in cooperation with the subject matter experts and process owners.
    • Set up new material in the Career Management System and assist in maintaining the system's setup.
    • Lend expertise in the technical aspects of eLearning to internal stakeholders, as requested.
    • Assist the preparation and running of in-house events, as well as preparing materials for such events.
  • Quality Control
    • Set and maintain processes from initiation to sign off for the development on in-house e-learnings, as well as maintaining these materials over time.
    • Continuous review of e-learning feedback to find and address issues and develop the impact of the materials.
    • Annual review of existing in-house courses for required updates and pro-actively check with SME for possible content changes.
  • Personal Development
    • Maintain knowledge and skill levels by receiving relevant training and reviewing related documentation and company communications related to current affairs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Writing, Communication, Instructional Design or related field. (AB English, BA in Communication, BS Journalism preferred).
  • Experience in graphic design and drawing.
  • Familiarity with Articulate Storyline 360 is beneficial.
  • Organized and structured personality will be of importance, as well as excellent written and spoken English skills (preferably American/British English).
