Job Description

Surepoint is currently seeking dedicated Instrumentation Technicians to join our team in Estevan, SK! We are looking for local candidates or those willing to relocate who are committed to safety, quality, and a shared win approach to client satisfaction.
In this role, you will be a key part of a dynamic field team, responsible for the maintenance, installation, and calibration of critical equipment. You will work on a variety of systems, including compressor panels, RTUs, and production facility equipment, while ensuring all operations adhere to strict environmental and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a continual focus on safety and adhere to all company environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Technical Execution: Perform calibrations and installations involving instrumentation tubing, using tools ranging from tubing benders to advanced equipment like Hart Communicators.
• System Maintenance: Work with continuity meters, gas detection controllers, and live process equipment, ensuring proper isolation and de-pressurization procedures.
• Mentorship: Journeymen will be expected to work with, mentor, and support apprentices to ensure the highest quality of workmanship across the team.
• Collaboration: Assist team members with the installation and replacement of equipment in various industrial settings.
Qualifications
• Certification: Certified Journeyman Instrumentation Technician or Indentured Apprentice.
• Experience: Previous industrial instrumentation field experience is required.
• Safety Tickets: Current H2S Alive and Standard First Aid are mandatory.
• Professionalism: A respectful attitude with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional communication skills.
• Reliability: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Physical Capability: Ability to work in diverse weather conditions, perform at heights, and meet the physical demands of a fast-paced field environment.
