Your Role

The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineering Manager will lead the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems supporting a continuous chemical manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that plant electrical infrastructure, instrumentation networks, and control systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. Working closely with plant leadership and operations teams, the role contributes directly to maintaining production stability while driving ongoing reliability improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical and instrumentation engineering function within the manufacturing facility
• Ensure reliability and operational availability of plant instrumentation and electrical systems
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for instrumentation and electrical system issues
• Coordinate instrumentation and electrical work during plant shutdowns and maintenance periods
• Work closely with operations teams to support safe and stable plant production
• Manage contractors and vendors supporting electrical and instrumentation work
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices
• Support engineering initiatives that improve plant reliability and operational efficiency

Technical Environment

The manufacturing facility operates a continuous chemical production process supported by modern industrial automation systems including:

• Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Industrial instrumentation and monitoring systems
• Electrical power distribution infrastructure supporting plant operations

Team Leadership

• The E&I Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities across the plant.
• The role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibility, guiding the team in maintaining system reliability and supporting operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within industrial process environments
• Thai native with a working proficiency level of English.
• Experience in industries such as:
  • chemical manufacturing
  • petrochemical plants
  • power generation
  • heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of plant instrumentation systems, electrical infrastructure, and industrial automation environments
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
• Leadership experience managing technical teams in plant environments
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Willing to commute and/or relocate to Saraburi province
