The E-Commerce Trading & Catalog Junior Specialist supports the commercial performance of the e-commerce channel through performance analysis, trading execution, and management of the digital product catalog. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate product data, supporting promotional execution, and ensuring timely product activation through the PIM system.

Working closely with the E-Commerce Trading Manager and Site Merchandising team, the position provides performance insights and ensures that product data, catalog management, and trading activities are executed accurately and efficiently to support commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial mindset, analytical skills, and a keen interest in product development within the e-commerce environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Reporting & Trading Analysis

  • Analyze category and product performance by tracking key KPIs including revenue, PCVR%, and ATC%, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

  • Support the preparation of weekly trading reports and insights for the e-commerce team.

  • Monitor product and category performance to support commercial decision-making and trading optimization.

Promotional & Trading Execution

  • Support the execution and monitoring of promotional and markdown activities in Shopify and markdown tools.

  • Ensure accurate setup, validation, and monitoring of promotional pricing and discount structures.

  • Assist in tracking the performance and impact of promotionalcampaigns and pricing adjustments.

Digital Product Catalog Management

  • Own the PIM system (Akeneo) and manage digital product publication across the e-commerce platform.

  • Ensure accurate product setup including product attributes, tagging, and product data completeness.

  • Maintain catalog consistency and data accuracy across the website.


Product Lifecycle & Activation

  • Manage the digital product lifecycle from product publication through discounting to end-of-season deactivation.

  • Coordinate seasonal product activation and ensure products are ready for launch according to the trading calendar.

  • Track seasonal publication status and ensure completeness of product data and activation readiness.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Work closely with the E-Commerce Trading Manager and Site Merchandising Coordinator to ensure commercial priorities are reflected on the website.

  • Coordinate with merchandising and production teams to ensure product information and digital assets are delivered on time.

  • Support alignment between catalog readiness, product launches, and trading initiatives.

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or online operations

  • Degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience working with PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo) or e-commerce platforms such as Shopify

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting and data analysis

  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets
