TheE-commerce teamis responsible fordriving an aggressive omni-channel retail vision at World Marketand sits at the forefront of growth for our brand. This fast-paced, dynamic team is focused on innovating our currentEcommerce experience to become a best-in-class digital experience for our customers.

As the E-commerce Production Category Associate, you willserve asthe subject matter expert for yourecommerce business categories - owning how products are set up, presented, discovered, andultimately performonline.You’lltranslatebuying andmerchandising strategies intoaccurateandcompellingonsite experiences while ensuring everySKUand product display page in your category is configured and displayed to the highest standard.

You'llpartner closely with MerchandiseBuyers, Inventory, Ecom Production, and Site Merchandisingteamsto drive both day-to-day execution and long-term category optimizations.You’llassessproductand categoryperformance,analyze customerpurchasingtrends,andidentifyopportunities toenhance discoverability andimprovecustomerexperience to increase revenue, conversion, and overall category growth.

We are currently hiring for two E-commerce Production Category Associate roles:

EcomProduction Category Associate -Furniture, Outdoor, Textiles, Home Accents

Ecom Production Category Associate -Gourmet, Seasonal Home Decor,Kitchen/Tabletop, Boutique

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

ProductKnowledge&Product Display Customer Experience

  • Serve as the category product expert, owning the front-end product display and overall customer experience
  • Attendandparticipatein merchandising presentations to align on core, seasonal, and strategic assortment direction
  • Apply key product knowledge to improve selling and conversion performance based on assortment strategy, growth initiatives, channel availability, and industry benchmarks
  • Collaborate with merchandising and inventory teams to translate categoryobjectivesinto optimized category and product page shopping experiences by understanding inventory and fulfillment tactics and opportunities
  • Partnerwith buying and production teams todetermineoptimalSKU setup(single, multi-variant, sets,bundles, collections)
  • Own end-to-endQA, validation,and optimizationofsku,set,bundle,and collection configuration to ensurecomplete andaccuratefront-endpresentation
  • Collaborate with product management, tech, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, improve internal processes, and influence customer-facing functionality
  • Lead,maintain, and refineproduct attribution and categorizationstrategiesin partnership with ecommerce merchandising and production teams
  • Monitor VOC tools and customer feedback toidentifyissues, drive fixes, and recommend optimizations across product pages and category experiences

Site Merchandising

  • Drive productcategorization, filters, sorting, and taxonomy improvements to strengthendiscoverabilityand overall site experience
  • Collaborate with ecommerce site merchandisers on seasonal shops, trend pages, search experiences, and cross-category initiatives
  • Apply SEO/GEO best practices to improve organic visibility across search, navigation, and product detail pages
  • Partner with site merchandisers, marketing, and creativeas neededto influence and shape content strategies

Reporting &DataAnalysis

  • Analyze product category performance using financial reporting and data tools
  • Execute weekly, monthly, seasonal, and ad hoc reporting and analysis toidentifycategoryand shopping behavior opportunities, sharing insights with ecommerce and cross-functional partners
  • Contribute to seasonal hindsightreports by summarizing wins, learnings, and opportunities for future improvement

Remote Work Location:

This is a fully remote position, with responsibilities that require strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a virtual work environment. Ideal candidates will be based in the Pacific Time Zone.

Experience & Skills You’ll Bring

  • 2-3 years of experience in ecommerce, site merchandising, merchandise buying, product setup, or related digital role with demonstrated ownership of a defined business scope
  • Experience in omnichannel environment preferred
  • Understanding of omnichannel workflows, dropship operations, and digital assortment planning
  • Proficiency in retail math and business performance analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting insights to cross-functional partners
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to manage large datasets across multiple reporting tools (v-lookups, pivot tables, cubes, data audits and validation)
  • High attention to detail with experience managing complex data and product setup
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, product flows, and category priorities
  • Solid foundation of digital merchandising and customer experience best practices
  • Proven ability to use competitive and business insights to prioritize and execute front-end experiences
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar enterprise ecommerce platform preferred
  • Experience with site analytics and business intelligence tools (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or similar tools)
  • Experience with project management platforms (Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms)

CA Pay Range is $72,000 - $75,000 annually

Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
