Ecommerce Merchandiser Specialist

A Career at HARMAN Lifestyle:

We’re a global, multi-disciplinary team that’s putting the innovative power of technology to work and transforming tomorrow. As a member of HARMAN Lifestyle, you connect consumers with the power of superior sound.

  • Contribute your talents to high-end, esteemed brands like JBL, Harman Kardon, Mark Levinson and Revel.
  • Unite your passion for audio innovation with high-tech product development.
  • Create pitch-perfect, cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about delivering flawless ecommerce execution, supporting product launches, and creating intuitive shopping experiences across premium consumer brands?

As part of the EMEA Online Ecommerce Team within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the on‑site merchandising experience for our Direct‑to‑Consumer (D2C) platforms, primarily supporting JBL, Harman Kardon, and AKG.

In this role, you will ensure accurate product presentation, seamless promotional execution, and strong category and search performance across the website. While your core focus will be on driving sales performance and supporting commercial priorities, you will also contribute to improving product discoverability, clarity of information, and the overall customer journey.

Working closely with Marketing, Communications, Customer Service, and other cross‑functional teams, you will help deliver a consistent, high‑quality on‑site experience across all key touchpoints: from homepage and category pages to cart and checkout.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure flawless execution of all in‑stock products and New Product Introductions (NPIs) across the site for JBL, Harman Kardon, and Harman Audio.
  • Maintain and enhance product presentation across PDPs, PLPs, and the homepage, ensuring full accuracy of all product information and supporting launches, campaigns, and key trading priorities.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and consistent product data across all systems and customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee category structures and ensure products are correctly classified to support intuitive navigation, SEO performance, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and improve upsell and cross‑sell capabilities through bundles, comparison modules, and “help me choose” tools.
  • Maintain non‑commercial site sections, including the footer, Customer Service pages, and brand story content.
  • Create and manage promotional setups and coupon codes for cross‑functional teams, ensuring accurate configuration and flawless execution.
  • Own the end‑to‑end promotional journey for closed communities across key areas of the website, including homepage, PLPs, PDPs, cart, and checkout, ensuring promotions are clearly communicated and easily redeemable.
  • Maintain and optimize the internal site search experience by managing keywords, synonyms, redirects, and zero‑result queries to improve product discoverability and conversion.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in e‑commerce merchandising or a related role, with a strong focus on driving sales and optimizing the customer experience.
  • Proficiency with e‑commerce platforms, including setting up campaigns, promotions, and managing product listings; experience with Salesforce tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze on‑site performance data using tools such as Contentsquare or GA4.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Marketing, Communications, and other cross‑functional teams.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy in product information and execution of merchandising strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment.

What Makes You Eligible:

  • Willingness to work in the office 2–3 days per week.

What We Offer:

  • A flexible work schedule where you will be able to work from home up to 40% and the remaining days in in a fantastic new office at Houthavens, Amsterdam.
  • You are going to work in an international team within a friendly global working atmosphere.
  • HARMAN offers a diverse and inclusive work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities, professional training and competitive market base compensation.
  • Top-notch employee discounts on world class HARMAN/Samsung products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, Bowers & Wilkins, AKG etc.)
  • Professional development opportunities through HARMAN University’s business and leadership academies.
  • Internal talent management leadership acceleration programs.
  • “Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program.
