Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager (UK DTC Brand) based in Canada.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced digital marketer ready to take ownership of growth for a fast-moving DTC e-commerce business.
You’ll lead customer acquisition and retention across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and email marketing through Klaviyo.
The role covers the full customer journey, from awareness and acquisition through conversion, retention, and lifetime value optimisation.
You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, using performance data to identify opportunities and improve commercial outcomes.
You’ll also manage a remote marketing team and coordinate projects across creative, content, product, and external stakeholders.
Success will be measured through meaningful business metrics such as ROAS, CAC, and LTV rather than activity alone.
This is a high-ownership environment suited to a proactive marketer who thrives on autonomy, accountability, and measurable growth.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute multi-channel customer acquisition strategies across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Klaviyo, with a focus on profitable growth.
- Own the full marketing funnel, optimising the customer journey from awareness and acquisition through conversion and retention.
- Drive initiatives designed to reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and increase lifetime value (LTV/CLTV)
- Manage, mentor, and collaborate with a distributed digital marketing team, ensuring priorities and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- Lead marketing projects from planning through execution, coordinating effectively with product, creative, content, and external partners.
- Establish clear campaign objectives, deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations while keeping projects on track.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators including ROAS, CAC, CLTV, and other growth metrics
- Use analytics and reporting platforms such as GA4 and Triple Whale to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare regular financial and performance forecasts and reports, highlighting growth opportunities and areas requiring improvement.
- Stay current with advertising platform changes, digital marketing trends, competitor activity, and emerging acquisition opportunities.
- Continuously test and refine marketing strategies to improve overall acquisition, retention, and commercial performance.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience working with DTC e-commerce brands; direct-to-consumer experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel customer acquisition across paid search, paid social, and email marketing
- Demonstrated experience managing Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and Klaviyo
- Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics, including ROAS, CAC, LTV/CLTV, and their relationship to profitability.
- Proven ability to analyse marketing data and translate insights into clear, commercially focused actions.
- Experience managing remote marketing teams and leading digital marketing projects independently from conception through completion.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools such as Monday, Trello, or ClickUp
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Highly independent and proactive, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing targets and performance requirements.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and daily accountability.
- Experience in the health, wellness, or supplements sector would be advantageous.
- Professional English proficiency, including the ability to submit application materials in English.
Benefits
- 100% remote working arrangement with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.
- Monday–Friday schedule aligned with UK GMT hours, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Flexible working environment with a high degree of independence and autonomy.
- Independent contractor position with the freedom to manage your work remotely.
- Ownership of the marketing strategy for a growing global DTC e-commerce business.
- Opportunity to directly influence customer acquisition, retention, and overall commercial growth.
- Collaboration with a supportive, international remote marketing team.
- Opportunity to lead and develop a distributed team.
- Paid time off and flexible working arrangements.
- Opportunity to work across a broad modern digital marketing stack and multiple acquisition channels.
- Important application requirement: resume and introductory video must be submitted in English.
