E-COMMERCE INTERN, CHANEL NORWAY

CHANEL NORWAY is currently looking for an E-commerce Intern to deliver high service standards to our e-commerce clients and to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy within our guidelines and procedures. The position is 15 hours per week, located in our CHANEL office back-of-house in Oslo. The work is carried out on weekdays, Monday to Friday, primarily from mornings until early afternoon, making it a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to combine the role with ongoing studies.

As an E-commerce Intern, you will be dedicated to the daily e-commerce tasks and understand the intangible value of delivering exceptional client experience. You will present positive energy, contribute to team collaboration, pay careful attention to details and act in a courteous, professional, and knowledgeable manner. You take pride in working for CHANEL and passionately uphold our standards, objectives, and vision to re-imagine the CHANEL beauty experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick and pack daily e-commerce orders according to procedures and wrapping guidelines
  • Manage all daily orders in our e-commerce system
  • Follow up on daily parcel pick up done by courier
  • Receive and handle daily e-commerce returns according to procedure
  • Manage all e-commerce returns in the e-commerce system
  • Follow up on wrapping items and stock and report to the Operations Team for replenishment
  • Follow up on monthly samples and report to the Operations Team
  • Keep the e-commerce area including packing station neat and tidy
  • Maintain a clean and structured organization of back office
  • Assist in other back office, e-commerce, and retail operations when needed
  • Share best practices with other e-commerce colleagues
  • Propose improvements to the e-commerce team

We are looking for:

  • Fluent in English, Norwegian is a plus
  • Experience working within E-commerce and/or retail
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and being flexible and spontaneous
  • You are a self-driven, positive, and independent person
  • You bring a strong set of interpersonal skills, which is essential as the role involves close liaison with all functions and business teams across our entire organization
  • Works effectively as part of a team and connects well with coworkers
  • As a person, you are approachable, proactive, detail-oriented, thorough and structured in your work
  • Passionate about the luxury and fragrance & beauty industry
  • You are trustworthy with a high degree of integrity and ethics
