The E-Coatings Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining the electrocoating (e-coat) line to ensure proper coating of metal parts. This includes preparing parts, monitoring chemical levels, troubleshooting equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance. In addition to the e-coat line, responsibilities also include operation of the wastewater pretreatment system, maintenance, monitoring and replenishing of chemicals to maintain compliance with county and state regulations.
