Benesch is proud to announce the opening for a e-Billing Specialist in our Chicago office! This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.

Then you may be interested in this e-Billing Specialist position. This role is perfect for a natural problem solver with a background in e-billing who is detail-oriented and desires a strong sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. The e-Billing Specialist processes the flow of computerized billing from inception to final product to include narrative edits and transfers, unbilled write-offs, and distribution of month-end prebills and reports for specific timekeepers in an accurate and timely manner.

Essential Functions

1. Understanding of start to finish billing process and procedures

2. Understanding of multiple e-billing sites and requirements

3. Monitor BillBlast/e-billing systems for submissions and rejections.

4. Work with billing and collections team to solve e-billing issues.

5. Communicates properly and promptly with BFCA personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.

6. Process / follow up appeals as needed.

7. Review invoices for OCG requirements.

8. Ability to enter rates/accruals into different systems.

9. Ability to problem solve and critically think.

10. Ability to work alone and also in a team setting.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The e-Billing Specialist must have a High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant client billing experience. A typing speed of 60 WPM and 10-key machine by touch are required. Must be proficient in Excel and Word as well as have an understanding of E-invoicing systems. Aderant/BillBlast experience is preferred. Must possess an excellent customer service attitude. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

InTapp Time, Chrome River Expense Reporting, Elite WebView, Interaction, Cisco Telephone System, AskCody Meeting, iManage, SharePoint

The salary range for this position is $67K to $87K.

Please note that quoted salary ranges are based on Benesch's good faith belief at the time of the job posting and are not a guarantee of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that Benesch provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full-time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
