We are looking to hire an E Banking Specialist I to support the daily operations and ongoing success of Rockland Trust's electronic banking services. This position focuses on ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of electronic banking processes and systems. Responsibilities include assisting with all phases of Electronic Banking operations, including but not limited to Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing, Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Positive Pay services. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal departments and external customers, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence and supporting the bank's electronic banking initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ACH processing
  • Online banking and bill pay set up and maintenance
  • Set up of new products including ACH origination, Positive Pay and Tax payments
  • Cash Management Queue

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Keep up to date on changes to ACH rules and regulations
  • OLB Messages
  • Contact Notes
  • Name and address changes
  • Title changes
  • Support Branch, CIC, other business units and customers with inquiries related to eBanking
  • Understand and comply with all compliance related regulations related to Deposit Operations
  • Miscellaneous testing and projects
  • Other tasks as requested

Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate the interconnectivity and accuracy of data.
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. SharePoint.
  • The incumbent must be dependable, highly organized, possess effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • May be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to solve practical problems without assistance

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Banking knowledge is a preferred.
