Our Fabrication Center does amazing work to support our aircraft modification programs at Lake Charles. This important work is critical the the Warfighter! You will support all programs as needed, but primarily the E-7 MESA Program.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between the program management office and the project teams.
Take initiative proactively, manage multiple competition priorities at once, interface professionally with internal and external stakeholders, and work at an exceptionally rapid and fast pace
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Reviews status of projects; manages meetings and prepares status reports.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Understand and report on program Operations status at the required level of detail to the Program Manager, Sector Executive Management and customers.
Work with cross organizational teams and customers to set and clearly articulate goals/priorities and successfully communicate them to key staff.

Basic Qualifications:
A High School diploma and a minimum of 6 yrs of Project Management experience. A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience, may also be considered.
Able to excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently, meet deadlines, and drive tasks to completion.
Experience supporting customers in a project/technical lead role.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task with competing demands.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
Knowledge of Digital Process Platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Power Automate, Jira, Confluence) and Workflow Development.
Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and other core Office applications.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, if required.
US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of Project Management Experience.
Proficient in Lean and Six Sigma processes.
Experience working in technology or development organizations.
Familiarity with Cost Estimation, Proposal Development, and Methods for Tracking Schedule and Cost Based Progress.
A current DOD Clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $142,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
