Here’s how: 
  • Complete DZ straight truck routes as your primary assignment. Provide AZ Coverage as needed to support business needs.
  • Building relationships with our independent Dealers as an ambassador for Home Hardware Stores Limited.
  • Loading Dealer returns for transport to the Distribution Centre.
  • Complying with all government regulations described in the professional Driver’s Manual.
  • Operating vehicles in a safe and professional manner, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and inspecting the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Completing and delivering all necessary paperwork using on-board technology as required, along with light computer work and data entry.
We’re looking for:
  • Class A driver’s license with Z Endorsement with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
  • High school diploma.
  • 1-2 years of similar experience preferred with a good safety record.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to carry out deliveries throughout Ontario and Quebec.

  • Typically, drivers in this role earn between $70,000 and $100,000 annually. 
  • Earnings are based on a combination of per-kilometre rates, pick-up and delivery fees, flat-rate allowances, hourly rate for downtime or wait time, and other work-related pay components. 
  • Eligible for the annual bonus program.
