Job Description

Role Purpose

To plan, organize, and control all shop floor operations in the Dyeing & Finishing Department in order to meet quality standards of dyeing and delivery dates at minimum cost.

Main Duties

1. Control Dyeing & Finishing processes as per Company's standard operating procedure in all technical aspect and safety.

  • Monitor production in all processing areas through the establishment of production recording system, with status reports always available.
  • Ensure that competencies of production personnel are reviewed and monitored periodically and that all procedures and work methods are being kept current and complied satisfactorily.
  • Ensure the conformity of products upon completion of dyeing processes.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and the overall running of all productions area and all machines.

2. Deliver Quality, Quantity and production service as per budgeted plan.

  • Ensure that all Dyeing & Finishing area achieves quality and quantity target base on production capacity and budget.
  • Make correct planning in production process flow for all production area to ensure the targeted manufacturing lead time for Dyeing is met.
  • Reduce internal non conformity complaints and customer complaints constantly in terms of number of cases reported and goods returned by performing effective corrective and preventive action and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

3. Improve and maintain good working attitude to support achievement keys performance indicators.

  • Manage and develop sound business relationships with superior, peers, and outside parties.
  • Manage subordinates and allocate resources within overall budget agreed with the superior.
  • Ensure that other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the superior are conducted satisfactorily.

4. Improve productivity through continual improvement cycle tools.

  • Reduce stop time machine and improve machine efficiency.
  • Reduce wastage and reject level based on production.
  • Reduce production cost by process efficiency.

5. ISO 14001;OHSAS 18001, Environment & Health & Safety

  • Implementation of procedures Manufacturing, Work instruction related safety concern.
  • Maintain, care and cleanliness of equipment supporting operations.
  • Actively participate in program Occupational health & Safety, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.
  • Ensure all WI in Dye house is equipped with safety check point.
  • Loss prevention: - Use safety equipment (PPE) appropriate.

- Safety Shop Floor Meeting Attend daily and weekly.

- Implement and maintain the cleanliness (5S) of the activities within the scope of Dyeing & Finishing Department.

- Active help in the investigation of workplace safety activities.

- Report any safety or environmental incident (Accident, near miss, unsafe action & unsafe condition)

6. Environmental Aspect

  • Implementing all activity in their department in accordance with the environmental policy and developing corrective action plans with ECCR Team when needed.

Authorities

  1. Approve production schedules and process flow adjustments.
  2. Validate product conformity before release.
  3. Authorize corrective and preventive actions for quality and safety issues.
  4. Approve training and competency development plans for Dyeing & Finishing staff.
  5. Authorize machine maintenance and downtime recovery actions.
  6. Stop any unsafe activity and escalate major compliance breaches.

Requirements:

Education: S-1, University Graduate, Preferable major in Chemical or Textile

Training: Leadership and Team Building, Quality Management Systems

Skill: Computer, English, problem solving, conceptual thinking, people management, work management

Experience: 5 years relevant experience & Understand dyeing technology.
