JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the supervision of screeners during the shift w.r.t the Performance, Punctuality, people management, discipline and internal stakeholder engagement, so as to ensure 100% screening of hold baggage at specified locations of ILBS, 100% compliance of BCAS / DGCA security mandate and assist Associate Manager Inline for smooth functioning of ILBS operation in order to optimize the output and make DIAL a great place to work.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Supervising the shift and help screeners in image interpretation. Prepare daily staff allocation, rotation and breaks schedule and effective implementation to ensure smooth operation.
• No. of SOPs implemented
• Brief staff about BCAS Orders, Circulars. Alert messages from BCAS and other Govt. agencies are read, understood and signed by all team members. Record of all such communication are secured and available for scrutiny.
• BCAS circulars/Orders/alerts
• Ensure 100% Compliance of BCAS, DGCA directives and guidelines issued by HOD during shift operation at all levels of screening.
• 100% Compliance of BCAS & DGCA Instruction /Guidelines
• Assist A.M. in monitoring Screeners performance (TIP, Time outs, NFA etc) & Maintain Leave, attendance reports etc. and preparing daily reports.
• Implementation of 5S and KAIZEN by team members.
• MIS report of HMC/ Accuracy of the MIS / reports / records
• Leave and attendance Policy of organization
• Maintain screener's TIP record and screening performance and nominate staff for CBT in subsequent month.
• TIP record of individual screener in HMC
• Maintenance of snag register to ensure serviceability of equipment, downtime monitoring & reporting.
• No. of incidents of equipment break down
• Conduct daily check of auditable documents to ensure proper documentation. Ensure Pre-operational checks of equipment are being done meticulously and recorded for scrutiny.
• Maintenance of auditable documents as per BCAS mandates
• Ensure drills are conducted as per schedule.
• Assist team members in liaising with airlines and local Police and other Govt. agencies in case of detection of weapon/arms/ammunition etc.
• Adherence with the Internal Quality Control Program
• Ensure discipline within the team and leaves are granted judiciously to maintain sufficient strength for operation.

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• CISF - During physical search & other security matters.
• Service Providers - such as Smith detection & GE electronics for maintenance of security equipment.
• Govt. Agency like Delhi Police / Customs / Narcotic Control Bureau / Wild Life Protection.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• BHS - Coordinate for smooth baggage flow & baggage related issue.
• Time Management - Coordinate for staff attendance related issue.
• IT - Coordinate with IT department for staff SAP / mail issue.
• Terminal Operations / QSD

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate
• Basic AVSEC Course
• Inline Screener Certified
• DG CAT- 12.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 07 years’ experience in In-Line Security as a certified screener.
