Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Experience in handling customer complaints of Industrial application engines and Gensets (additional Electrical integration experience).
  • Monitoring of Field failures related to Engine aggregate.
  • Responsible for reducing Repairs Per Hundred (RPH) & warranty cost
  • Analysis of field complaints & providing solution as fast as possible
  • Coordinating with Customer care team for effective and immediate customer Complaint resolution.
  • Field visits for onsite analysis & understanding applications / Usage
  • Providing field fix
  • Deployment of current Engine failure learnings on new product to ensure first time right new product
  • Ensuring sustenance of actions taken
  • Improving response time
  • Systematic approach of problem solving using some of the advanced problem solving tools
  • Co-ordination with other functions such as Customer care, CDMM, PDRDS, Manufacturing, SQI & account for faster implementation of solution
  • Co-ordinate with all manufacturing plants for the early hours issue as well as warranty project execution
  • Participate in DFMEA, PMEA
  • Warranty parts scrutiny, Engine tear down analysis
  • Plant process audit at regular interval
  • Ensure shop floor quality by Sustenance auditing, monitoring, Improving the compliance to standard
  • Hands-on experience in data management for all customers and daily MIS.

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics; Bachelors of Technology in Electrical and Electronics; Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelors of Technology

General Experience

7-10 Years, exp in Field Quality - Industrial Engine & Genset preferred

Critical Experience

Failure Analysis / diagnosis / Problem solving • Co-ordination skill (co-ordination with various agencies such as End customers , Dealers , Suppliers , Marketing service , Horizons & Manufacturing ) • Very good at follow ups & de bottlenecking the issues
