Technical Construction Manager

We are assisting our client with a Dx & Tx Authorised
Technical Construction Manager
opportunity for site-based infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical construction leader who can manage work fronts, resolve site challenges, and keep teams productive.

Basic Functions

• 
  Manage technical construction activities on site.
• 
  Lead site teams, subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
• 
  Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• 
  Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and technical compliance.
• 
  Resolve site-level technical issues to avoid delays and rework.
• 
  Support short-term planning and workface execution.
• 
  Coordinate daily and weekly site activities.
• 
  Maintain progress reporting and site performance records.
• 
  supervision of HV electrical works (Dx-, Tx Substations, and/or Overhead Lines, and/or OHTE)

Requirements

• 
  N6 Electrical or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 
  7+ years’ construction experience.
• 
  Experience in electrical infrastructure or similar technical site environments.
• 
  Strong supervision of labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials.
• 
  Good knowledge of SHEQ, OHS Act, construction regulations, and quality standards.
• 
  HIRA, Legal Liability, First Aid, and working-at-heights advantageous.
• 
  Operating regulations for high voltage systems (HV01, HV02, and HV04: Appointed Operator)
• 
  Electrical line mechanic (OFO 671301)
