Le ou la développeur(-euse) principal(e) de produits, Fullstack est responsable du développement et de la livraison des applications destinées aux utilisateurs de Xona, en commençant par notre portail client. Cette personne accompagne les clients tout au long de leur parcours, de l’intégration à l’activation des appareils et des services, leur donnant accès au système commercial de positionnement, de navigation et de synchronisation temporelle (PNT) le plus avancé au monde.
Ce rôle s’inscrit dans le processus de développement de produits « 4D » et exige une collaboration étroite avec les gestionnaires de produits, les concepteurs, les développeurs ainsi que les autres équipes d’ingénierie.
En tant que membre clé de l’une des premières équipes de développement de produits de l’entreprise, cette personne aura l’occasion non pas d’optimiser un système existant, mais de concevoir et de bâtir une plateforme à partir de zéro.
The Senior Product Developer, Fullstack is responsible for the development and delivery of Xona’s User Applications, starting with our Customer Portal, walking customers from onboarding to device and service activation, unlocking their access to the world’s most advanced commercial PNT system. This role operates in the “4D” product development process, requiring tight collaboration between the Product Managers, Designers, Developers and other engineering teams.
As an early Product Development hire in the company, this role offers an opportunity not to optimize an existing system, but to create one from the ground up.
· Owns the user application vertically: backend, database, frontend, data model
· Supports multiple flavors of the user apps, serving different industries, different personas, different languages
· Architect and plan future versions of the user applications’ product, e.g. multi-languages, multi-currencies, international payments, WCAG
· Anticipate needs and future-proof the technology choices, exercising expert judgement when to leverage SaaS vs home-made solutions
· Deploy user apps to our Cloud platform according to Platform engineering’s foundations
· Own the quality of the apps, automating testing and bug triage
· Own the Develop and Delivery phases (4D), acting project lead and architect to give other teams one person to interface with, for key discussions & alignment
· Support user & customer relations (product discovery, walk-throughs, official releases, integrations) with international customers.
· Support integrations with internal systems and external systems owned by Platform engineering (Data lake, APIs).
· 10+ years of experience in product, fullstack, frontend, or backend development roles
· Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, APIs and/or MQTT,
· Autonomous deploying user applications & managing dependencies
· Proven record shipping rich web or mobile apps at scale on Cloud or App stores
· Autonomous in end-to-end testing, API testing, automations
· Proven experience using AI tools in the engineering process, with strong judgment on when and how to apply them
· Comfort operating with ambiguity and high ownership in a fast-moving environment
· Experience with SEO, Web analytics platform (Pendo, Posthog)
· Familiarity with Map engines (Mapbox) and geospatial data
· Prior exposure to startup organizations
· Excellent communicator, excelling in simplifying concepts for larger audiences,
· Fluent in English and French
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the confidence to navigate unstructured environments.
