About the role

When afternoon trade gets busy, you’ll help bring the whole store together. As our Part-time Duty Specialist, you’ll take a whole-store view across weekend afternoon and evening trade, setting priorities, supporting team members and stepping in to resolve customer, safety and operational issues as they happen.

Duty Specialist: You’ll coordinate across Service, Fresh and Nightfill, keep an eye on stock, presentation and compliance, and help make sure closing routines are completed and the store is ready for tomorrow. You’ll also provide practical coaching during the shift and a clear handover to store leaders, so the next team knows exactly where things stand.

Expected Working Hours: 2pm - 11pm, weekends only

About you and your skills

• Experience working in retail or another fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• A passion for great customer service and putting customers at the heart of what you do
• A team-first approach, with the confidence to coach, support and share your knowledge with others
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and keep things running smoothly
• Confidence working with operational targets and KPIs
• A commitment to creating a safe environment, with a focus on food safety, compliance, health and wellbeing
