Waymark Hotels is seeking enthusiastic and capable Duty Managers to lead our growing teams across Regional Queensland. We have full-time opportunities available at a variety of our iconic outback and coastal venues – true hidden gems!

Responsibilities:

Step into a key leadership position as Duty Manager, where you’ll ensure every guest has an extraordinary experience. This role is more than a job — it’s a unique opportunity to grow your hospitality career in a supportive, community-driven environment.

• Lead with Impact: Oversee daily operations across our vibrant bars, bustling restaurants, and welcoming accommodation, ensuring every detail is perfect.
• Inspire Your Team: Motivate, mentor, and develop our passionate staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Elevate Guest Experiences: Be the go-to person for our guests, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and making sure every visit is memorable.
• Drive Success: Manage staffing, scheduling, and inventory, while keeping an eye on budgets and ensuring we’re always operating efficiently.
• Champion Safety and Compliance: Ensure we meet all health, safety, and licensing regulations, keeping our team and guests safe.

Skills & Qualifications:

The following skills, behaviors, and qualifications are essential:

• Current Approved Manager License, RMLV, RSA, RSG and CLO (or willing to obtain)
• Experience managing teams in a hospitality environment
• Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills with excellent communication
• Availability to work hospitality hours.
• Ability to manage conflict and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience in a high-volume food, bar, function, gaming, and retail environment.
