Bonny View Tavern is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join our leadership team on a permanent full-time basis.

Located in Bald Hills, Queensland, Bonny View Tavern is a welcoming local venue offering great food, refreshing drinks and genuine hospitality. We're looking for a passionate leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leads by example and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage and gaming.
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.
• Coaching, developing and motivating front-of-house team members.
• Opening and closing the venue while ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.
• Managing cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation and venue reporting.
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to building a long-term career.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge with the ability to lead busy service periods.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and confidence making decisions under pressure.
• Effective labour management and rostering experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Current QLD RSA & RSG certificates (RMLV highly regarded or willingness to obtain).
