SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Full-Time Duty Manager to join the team at Gold Coast Airport on a 12‑month parental leave contract ending July 2027

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational support for our frontline team and ensure high customer satisfaction.

YOUR ROLE

  • Drive sales performance by coaching the team, promoting upselling and value-added services, and monitoring key metrics.
  • Lead and support front- and back-of-house teams to deliver seamless, exceptional customer experiences and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee fleet planning and vehicle availability, ensuring all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, leveraging feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols, operational procedures, and rigorous asset and key management.
  • Efficiently manage rental bookings, agreements, and customer data via our tech platforms with accuracy and care for detail and security.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Sales Talent: You are motivated, enjoy direct customer service and are a true sales talent.
  • Industry Experience: You bring valuable experience in areas such as sales, customer service or tourism. Experience in vehicle rental industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Supervisory and Communication Skills: You possess strong leadership and supervisory skills, strong communication skills, and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Organisation and Customer Service: You are highly organised, have a service-oriented mindset and excel in customer service.
  • Flexibility You are willing to work a rotating roster between 6am and midnight, Monday to Sunday, including school holidays, weekends, and public holidays.

As part of our recruitment process, successful applicants will be required to complete a National Criminal History Check. Please note that all candidates will need a current provisional or full driver's licence and working rights in Australia.
