Maintain familiarity with most durable medical equipment. Perform public relations functions, market durable medical equipment and specialty equipment and will need to understand the operation and therapeutic value of durable medical and related DME. Responsible for the management of Rehab inventory, including but not limited to, ordering, receiving and maintenance of equipment. Work closely with rehabilitation and physical therapists to meet patient needs and conduct assessments and provide service associated with clinical recommendations. Provide set up, maintenance and repair services associated with the provision of rehab equipment. Responsible for receiving incoming freight, including but not limited to, pricing, stocking, coding invoices and entering product into inventory software. Work at the direction of the Rehab Specialist and/or Inventory Supervisor.

Work Environment:
Drive company vehicle in all weather conditions and to customer’s homes and healthcare facilities on state highways and rural roads. Work area in office is well lighted and ventilated. Exposed to changes in temperature and humidity. Potential exposures to noise, vibration, solvents, communicable diseases, body fluids, blood borne pathogens and hazardous materials. Hazardous materials inventory and MSDS available. Wears protective personal equipment as required. Able to work in stressful and demanding environment. May travel for in-services or education. Lifts objects from 35 pounds to 160 pounds. Subject to frequent interruptions. Sits, stands and walks intermittently during the workday. Deals with public, personnel and customers under all circumstances.

Primarily days – Monday through Saturday (weekend & night on-call rotation).
