Primary Location: 8950 University Blvd, Suite 150, North Charleston, SC - Position will travel to offices across the system.
The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating departmental workflows, supporting operational processes, and facilitating efficient day-to-day activities within the DME program. This role provides guidance and support to team members, assists with onboarding and training activities, and ensures alignment of work across functions. The Coordinator partners with leadership to maintain organized, consistent, and effective operations while supporting staff in the execution of their responsibilities. This role provides guidance and support to team members, assists with onboarding and training activities, and supports the resolution of complex or escalated patient eligibility and workflow situations.

BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire RSFH)
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
1 year durable medical equipment experience (preferred)

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned area.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age, specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in departmental policies and procedures.
