Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect Vehicles: Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on tires, fluid levels, brakes, and lights.
  • Transport Materials: Haul sand, gravel, dirt, and asphalt safely between suppliers, quarries, and construction zones.
  • Operate Controls: Use levers and hydraulic cranks inside the cab to tilt the truck bed and dump loads accurately.
  • Maintain Compliance: Keep accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and hours-of-service documentation in line with DOT regulations.
  • Follow Safety Rules: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and navigate tight or busy worksites safely

Job Qualifications

  • Valid License: Hold a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with proper endorsements (such as air brakes).
  • Medical Certification: Possess a current medical examiner's certificate.
  • Clean Record: Maintain a safe driving history verified by a motor vehicle record check.
  • Physical Strength: Ability to climb into an elevated cab multiple times a day and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Ethic: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions with early morning start times.
