About the role

Pixelogic is looking for an experienced Korean dubbing in-house QC editors to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with teams around the globe with the goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality check on Korean dubbing script after adaptation
• Ensure creation and QC review of ASR (As Recorded Script) and Korean AD (Audio Description)
• Maintain quality standards with accuracy and speed and adhere to style guidelines and projectspecific instructions.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Must be punctual, dependable and flexible, and possess a team attitude and willingness to adapt to last-minute changes to programming and industry.
• Manage assignments on a pro-active basis and escalate issues to management.
• Misc. tasks assigned by Senior Management
• Collaborate with the translation team to address language-specific queries and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Korean, linguistics and language study majors and/or Entertainment and Media
• Minimum of 2 years of Korean subtitle creation and proofreading experience required
• Knowledge of professional scripting, and subtitling software highly desirable
• Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiasm to get things done
• Excellent reading skills, spelling/vocabulary, and grammar
• Ability to follow technical/style guide for multiple client content types
• Must be residing in South Korea
