Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at the Daimler Truck Innovation Center India Private Limited. In the TT/S44-83 department, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and engineering excellence. Your expertise in wiring schematics design, DTNA wiring modules, and BEV products will be instrumental in shaping the future of our automotive solutions. As a Senior Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our DTNA colleagues, leveraging your strong communication skills to ensure seamless coordination and knowledge exchange.
  • Design and develop wiring schematics for automotive applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Utilize DTNA wiring modules and expertise to optimize wiring systems and enhance vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with DTNA colleagues to align wiring schematics with their requirements and ensure compatibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) technology and incorporate them into wiring designs.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of wiring schematics to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Document and maintain wiring schematics and related documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product designers, to integrate wiring schematics into overall vehicle systems.
  • Participate in engineering release activities, ensuring timely and accurate release of wiring schematics and related documentation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to continuously improve wiring design practices.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in wiring schematics design and development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of DTNA wiring modules and their applications.
  • Proficiency in using IMACS (Integrated Manufacturing and Assembly Control System) and charting tools for wiring design.
  • Experience with engineering release processes and documentation management.
  • Strong understanding of BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) technology and its integration into wiring systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with DTNA colleagues.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations related to wiring systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
