Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and end‑to‑end data engineering to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience with modern data architectures, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data modeling, along with working knowledge of tools such as Matillion, SAP HANA, and Medallion Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on Snowflake
• Implement and optimize ELT/ETL workflows using tools like Matillion and other orchestration frameworks.
• Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Perform data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) to support analytical and reporting use cases.
• Integrate data from multiple source systems including SAP HANA, relational databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Ensure data quality, data governance, performance tuning, and cost optimization within Snowflake.
• Develop reusable frameworks and best practices for ingestion, transformation, and data validation.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Implement security best practices including role‑based access control, data masking, and auditing.
• Support production deployments, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across data engineering initiatives.

• 11–12 years of overall experience in Data Engineering / Data Platform development
• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, cost optimization).
• Expertise in ETL/ELT design and development, preferably using Matillion
• Solid understanding and implementation experience with Medallion Architecture
• Strong experience in data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
• Proficient in SQL and experience with large‑scale data transformations.
• Hands‑on experience integrating data from SAP HANA and other enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytics platforms.
• Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.).
