Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced P2P Process Owner to lead and optimize the end-to-end procure-to-pay operations within our automotive manufacturing and supply chain environment. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless procurement, invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution, while driving process improvements and compliance across global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Ownership & Strategy:

  • Own the P2P process lifecycle including procurement, invoice management, and payment execution.

  • Define and implement P2P policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the automotive industry.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, finance, IT, manufacturing) to align P2P processes with business goals.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and improve KPIs such as PO cycle time, invoice accuracy, payment timeliness, and vendor satisfaction.

  • Lead automation and digitization initiatives (e.g., e-invoicing, supplier portals, ERP enhancements).

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, including warranty and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts).

  • Resolve escalations related to procurement or payment issues.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and industry regulations.

  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and process transparency.

  • Mitigate risks related to supplier performance, fraud, and payment errors.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify process gaps and lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency.

  • Benchmark P2P practices against industry standards and implement best-in-class solutions.

Qualification

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

    • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and procurement tools.

    • Experience with global operations and vendor ecosystems.

    • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Experience: 12-15 years of experience in P2P or procurement operations, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
