Job Description

The Senior Program Manager (L5) plays a pivotal leadership role in driving operational excellence, strategic alignment, and high‑performance delivery across DTFS NA IT. This position leads seasoned technical teams responsible for Application Architecture, Dev & maintenance, release management, RPA and Automation. The role requires strong stakeholder management, deep business acumen in financial products, and the ability to collaborate effectively across global and local teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead high‑performing DTFS NA IT teams across application maintenance, operations, and infrastructure functions.
  • Oversee comprehensive people management including goal setting, performance evaluation, development planning, and continuous feedback aligned with organizational guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and engagement within the team.
  • Promote lifelong learning, well‑being, and self‑care practices in the workplace.
  • Build a future‑ready team structure aligned with organizational needs and financial product strategies.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate strong and sustainable business relationships between DTFS and DTICI across the financial ecosystem.
  • Partner with Central teams to build a robust operational framework for RUN and PROJECT teams, ensuring seamless application rollout across eight European markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with global and local stakeholders to achieve shared KPIs and deliverables on schedule.
  • Ensure transparent communication, timely escalation, and proactive risk management to leadership.

Program & Delivery Management

  • Drive operational and business excellence through accurate effort estimation, capacity planning, staffing, training, and budget adherence.
  • Lead end‑to‑end project planning, resource allocation, schedule management, and risk mitigation for financial application initiatives.
  • Ensure quality delivery through review of requirements, functional specifications, design documents, and technical plans.
  • Convert strategic targets into actionable, ambitious, and measurable execution plans.

Strategy, Technology & Innovation

  • Apply strategic thinking to identify new opportunities, optimize operational capabilities, and integrate emerging technologies relevant to the business.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and competence development across teams.
  • Contribute ideas for organizational and process improvements, while adapting effectively to change.
  • Advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion as core organizational values.

Governance, Compliance & Operational Integrity

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, security guidelines, and regulatory norms for both self and team members.
  • Maintain oversight on availability monitoring, security posture, release management, and infrastructure administration.
  • Guarantee adherence to enterprise standards, operational SLAs, and audit requirements.

  • 12–17 years of experience in the software industry, including project, people, and business management roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with global and local teams.
  • Proven leadership skills with strong business acumen, interpersonal abilities, and exceptional communication.
  • Expertise in reviewing and drafting requirements, functional specifications, design documentation, and technical plans.
  • Ability to work flexibly to support North America time‑zone as needed.
