DT Technician

35 hours per week – Monday to Friday - Hours 8am to 4pm

September 2026 start - Term time + INSET + 1-week holiday work = 40 weeks

Salary Sc3 (pts 5-6) £31,086 - £31,530pa.

Pro-rata actual salary: £26,855 - £27,239 pa (pay award pending)

Sydenham School is seeking to recruit a talented individual to join our team as a Design and Technology Technician. Applicants will be experienced in using workshop machinery, have a secure understanding of Health and Safety procedures and be able to communicate effectively with staff and students at all levels.

The role demands a high level of organisational planning and the capacity to provide a first-class service that meets the needs of both students and the curriculum. There will be a strong focus on actively promoting the enjoyment of all aspects of Product Design and Textiles.
