Job Description

Work Location: Milpitas office.

You will work on designing, developing, integrating, and deploying software for a software-defined radio platform. You will be working on a new proof-of-concept project.

You need to be able to understand system requirements, translate them into software implementations, drive projects to completion, test and debug code, identify critical issues, and devise optimal solutions to resolve them. The ideal candidate should have experience with a software-defined radio platform and be able to use AI and build on available open-source code for such a platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Implementing PHY layer software features in C or C++ based on system design specifications
• Using MATLAB to design signal processing algorithms
• Rapidly iterating on design and testing on real hardware

What You'll Need:

• Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Coursework in digital signal processing and/or digital communications
• Strong programming background in C, C++, and Matlab
• Experience with software-defined radio

What Would Make You Stand Out

• Coursework and/or work experience in wireless communications systems, including areas such as OFDM, array signal processing, beamforming, or MIMO communications
• Experience with embedded software development, real-time operating systems, multi-core processors, inter-process communication, and/or multi-threaded programming
• Familiarity with LTE and 5G wireless standards
