DSHS SCC Residential Rehabilitation Counselor 2
We are seeking a highly adaptable and self-motivated professional to join our team. The Secure Community Transition Facility is a structured and closely supervised community residential program where residents continue treatment in a community setting. Our program provides treatment to individuals who are civilly committed, helping them address their history of sexual offenses and prepare for a safe and successful transition back into the community. We are looking for people who are interested in making a positive contribution to the lives of others.
As a Residential Rehabilitation Counselor, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to implement strategies and interventions that support the needs of our residents. Residential Rehabilitation Counselors are responsible for the daily support and monitoring of residents, escorting/chaperoning services in the community, health engagement opportunities, and fostering a safe and secure environment.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Pierce County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs.
