JOB PURPOSE:

  • To serve as a student office worker for the Data Science department during the 26 - 27 academic year.

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

  • Resume, uploaded
  • Cover letter, uploaded - Please include in your cover letter a few sentences on what type of events you would like to see the Data Science program help with this year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with clerical tasks pertaining to the DSCI department
  • Manage Data Science instagram account (bi-weekly posting)
  • Co-curricular planning responsibilities
  • Planning and executing events, including attendance and help with set up
  • Produce fliers using Canva or other software (no prior experience necessary)
  • Utilize Google Spreadsheets
  • Scanning, copying, filing, etc

RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:

  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.

SCHEDULE:

  • To be determined between employee and supervisor.

RATE OF PAY:

  • $16.80/hour

WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:

  • No Work Study required
