Compensation

$32,100 – $60,300

Purpose

This position supports all DSC clerical activities including providing support to the regional Routing and Transportation teams. Additional responsibilities include data validation, report creation, some data entry and creating communications.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and manages workflow of DSC, Syntellic, Sysco Transportation System (STS), Verizon and Roadnet
  • Backup support for Routing in regional sites as needed
  • Provides clerical support to the Operations team in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate with sales and operation teams on driver delays
  • Communicate with Drivers
  • Data entry and report generation for the DSC and Transportation Team
  • Prepare general communications for distribution within the operation (dispatching times etc.)
  • Assist in safety reporting, data entry, KPI tracking, and investigations.
  • Administer organizational practices when coordinating delivery driver relief
  • Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.
  • Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
  • Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in distribution environment
  • Exposure to Operations Systems is required.
  • High School Diploma
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Objectif

  • Travailler de façon sécuritaire en minimisant l’impact environnemental et signaler immédiatement tout danger, incident ou déversement environnemental à son superviseur
  • Respecter la politique et les procédures de sécurité alimentaire de Sysco afin d’assurer la qualité, la salubrité et la conformité des aliments
  • Comprendre l’importance de sa propre sécurité et de celle de ses collègues et signaler toute situation dangereuse
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe assignée

Qualifications

  • Minimum d’un an d’expérience dans un environnement de distribution
  • Connaissance des systèmes d’exploitation requise
  • Diplôme d’études secondaires
