The role of the of DRY Technology Engineer is to support the implementation of new raw material, new process and new product and capable to balance from raw material reception to cooling process.
TheDRY Technology Engineer shares R&D specifications needed for manufacturing of DRY product on existing manufacturing standard and for new technology to achieve process specifications conformance and finished product specifications conformance.
The DRY Technology Engineer support deployment of the DRY technology expertise of Royal Canin with the regional PPI community.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food), related technology program or equivalent
5+ years relevant experiences in food technology development, process & product scale-up and/or implementation
Demonstrated industry experience as R&D engineer or Quality & Food Safety Engineer
Demonstrated Factory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Science, Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Food) or related technology program
Working in a company with multicultural and international features
Green belt or Black belt for Lean 6-Sigma
What will be your key responsibilities?
Support DRY INDUSTRIALIZATION pillar in the region,
The Regional DRY Technology Engineer supports the Industrialization process in the region by delivering DRY Technology expertise.
More precisely, the Regional DRY Technology Engineer will be a key R&D support to support product and process topics. Part of following activities:
Support execution of Industrial test runs needed for innovation plan deployment or portfolio transfer from a factory to another. Deliver guidance on SRC definition and support troubleshooting.
Support any regional must do projects like product quality improvement, Do It Best project, Business continuity project or Sustainability project.
Support definition of regional IRA for successful Implementation of new raw material, new process and new product.
Support factories on any technology capability performance issues
Support DRY PRODUCT and DRY PROCESS CONFORMANCE in the region,
The Regional DRY Technology Engineer supports the assessment of conformance of R&D specifications related to Royal Canin DRY manufacturing standard and align practices/specifications across factory network.
More precisely, the Regional DRY Technology Engineer will be part of following activities:
Support transfer of process specifications related to DRY manufacturing standard in place and monitor conformance.
Execute technical audits to assess implementation and conformance of R&D process specifications on factory
Support PPI on process capability assessment and protocol execution.
Gather and analyse data (Cp, Cpk).
Report performance per site (i.e Dosing capability, mixing capability, Cross contamination capability, ….).
Support transfer of product specifications related to DRY manufacturing standard in place and monitor conformance.
Execute technical audits to assess implementation and conformance of R&D product specifications on factory
Analyse product capability (Cp, Cpk) performance per site
Support DRY Process Validation and DRY product Validation for new equipment and new line commissioning
Define wet commission and validation plan for the sites, with a strong indirect management of associates based on site:
Clarify specification associated with each part of the process
Define protocols to be executed on each step
Deliver training on process principles (process flow, principle theory, equipment added value, raw material specifications, process specifications) and product quality and performance (product specifications, quality attributes checks, production sequences rules).
Support CVS team and PPI on protocol execution on site
On start-up phase she / he supports SRC implementation, product ramp-up, portfolio implementation (raw material & product).
Support Complex problem-solving projects
Is team contributor on complex problem solving related to raw material, product and process.
Ensure application of robust methodology to support complex problem-solving management
