Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new features, ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability of the CMS.
• Create and maintain service interfaces between Drupal and external systems.
• Conduct technical analysis of new and existing systems and provide business-focused solutions.
• Evaluate community solutions and develop custom Drupal modules as needed.
• Mentor and train junior developers in technologies, solutions, and best practices.
• Contribute to task planning, work estimates, and scheduling for development and maintenance.
• Optimize code, review performance, and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Test, support, and troubleshoot issues across intranet and internet sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• With 4+ years of professional Drupal PHP development experience for intermediate roles, and 8+ years for senior roles
• Strong understanding of project development lifecycle and methodologies.
• Extensive experience in Drupal 8 & 9, including:
• (1) Enterprise-level Drupal implementations
• (2) Module configuration, custom module development, and API integration
• (3) Theme development (Twig, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap 4, CSS/SCSS/SASS)
• (4) System design, architecture, prototypes, and proof of concepts
• (5) Drupal site maintenance, administration, caching methods, and deployments
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience integrating open-source and third-party applications into Drupal sites.
• Familiarity with web browsers, their capabilities, and limitations.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or other front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of the latest versions of MS SQL Server.
• Basic Linux operational commands.
• Familiarity with GIT, SSO, NPM, Composer, Drush, and Drupal API.

• This position is offered as a yearly renewable contract, with the opportunity for permanent employment contingent upon performance.
