The Reputation and Risk Group (RRG) oversees and monitors various reputation and risk related processes and activities within the Firm with an aim to provide the relevant compliance support to our professionals in their delivery of quality service to our clients while protecting and maintaining the Firm’s brand and reputation.

As a Consultant within the RRG, you will work within the Deloitte Southeast Asia (SEA) Reputation and Risk Group (RRG) and will be based in our Malaysia practice office. You will be working closely with engagement teams and other client-facing professionals, within Deloitte Southeast Asia, and may have interactions with Risk and Reputation Leaders (RRL), Business Risk Leaders (BRL), Directors of Independence (DOI) as necessary. The primary roles involve:


Work you’ll do

  • Support the review and monitoring of reputation and risk-related processes, ensuring timely execution and completion of testing programs.
  • Liaise with internal clients and reviewers involved in testing programs, assist in analyzing results, and help address any resulting matters.
  • Prepare draft reports and schedules based on the testing work conducted, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in handling critical or complex cases, knowing when to escalate issues and consult with Managers or Senior Managers.
  • Suggest ways to improve the efficiency of processes and turnaround time, contributing to the continuous improvement of the RRG operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1 year experience in compliance, risk management, or a related area is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
