Job Description

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is seeking part-time Drop Count Associates to play a critical role in the casino's financial operations by accurately collecting, counting, and verifying gaming revenue from electronic machines and other gaming devices. This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently and securely. THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT POSITION WITH A START TIME OF 1:45AM.

  • Collect full money boxes from gaming machines.
  • Replace full boxes with empty boxes on gaming machines.
  • Transport full boxes to a secure location.
  • Ensure all machine doors and cart doors are properly secured.
  • Accurately sort, count, and verify cash, coins, and other gaming assets.
  • Prepare funds for transfer.
  • Balance bank accounts and reconcile counts with Cage operations.
  • Input data into the computer system.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Protect casino assets by adhering to strict security protocols.
  • Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or security personnel.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of experience in a cash-handling role, preferably in a casino environment.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of money accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License and/or Oklahoma Horse Racing License.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
