Wenger Corporation is seeking a Driver | Installer to safely and efficiently deliver and install Wenger products in such a manner as to maximize customer satisfaction.
As a Driver | Installer, a typical day may include:
Operating a company vehicle; either van or semi-truck in a safe and legal manner to efficiently achieve the delivery of Wenger products to the customer’s location maintaining all DOT compliance, licensing, and requirements
Providing direct supervision and work guidance to personnel hired on the job site that will result in the highest quality and time efficient installation of Wenger products
Recording, calculating, and paying labor hired on the job site in a manner that is both accurate and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Uses or supervises the use of a wide variety of power and hand tools in such a way as to ensure the safety of all personnel
Providing clear and concise reports in writing on all delivery and installations with recommendations to resolve customer problems and prevent reoccurrence on future projects
Meeting productivity and profitability metrics
Ensuring one's self and the crew meet all workplace and trade safety laws, regulations, standards, and practices identified by Wenger as well as for the specific job
At a minimum, you’ll need:
High school diploma
Five (5) years driving, mechanical, carpentry and/or supervisory experience
Drug and alcohol-free driving record
Highly qualified candidates may also possess:
Two (2) years additional technical training
Current valid C.D.L. and medical exam preferred, but not required
