Job Category: Health CareAs a Driver you will be responsible for providing patient transportation services. May provide assistance in processing admissions.

Essential Duties Include:
- Provide local transportation including, but not limited to, courier runs between the facilities.
- Provide patient transportation to and from the airport, appointments and meetings.
- Practices safe driving, obeying all traffic laws.
- Performs routine vehicle checks before using the vehicle.
- May perform admission duties in the absence of the Transportation Supervisor / Admission Clerk.
- Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information; extensive use of telephone.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, multi-task, coordinate projects and record/transcribe general and specific meeting minutes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Communicate with other staff to relay concerns and observations involving patient safety.

QualificationsEducation and

Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
- Valid Arizona State Drivers License with an excellent driving record
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous transportation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
