At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Driver – Warehouse Operative to join our Distribution Center located in Melbourne. The Centers are an example of Cosentino’s total commitment to its clients, providing them with exclusive and high-quality service. The Centers combine the functions of (a) warehouse, (b) brand and product showroom, and (c) sales network.

What you will do

-Drive company truck to distribute material to clients

-Collect material or returns from clients

-Responsible for ensuring that the truck follows the required maintenance

-Responsible for ensuring that the truck leaves with the necessary documentation wherever it is going

-Signing for shipments upon receipt and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received.

-Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies.

-Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed.

-Contacting suppliers or distributors to resolve any shipment or delivery issues.

-Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.

-Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.

-Weighing merchandise and selecting appropriate envelopes, boxes, containers, or crates in which to pack merchandise.

-Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, which includes retrieving specified merchandise from storage as well as packing, sealing, and labeling merchandise accordingly.

What you need to succeed

Academic Background

• High School ideally

Professional Experience

• At least 4-5 years of experience Driving heavy trucks

Knowledge & Skills

• Team Player
• Responsible person and customer service oriented
