Job Description

The Driver / Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse and delivery operations by ensuring materials are handled safely, loaded accurately, and delivered to job sites in a timely manner. This position is responsible for transporting cabinets and materials, supporting warehouse organization, and assisting with order fulfillment to meet project timelines.

Success in this role means materials are delivered accurately and safely, warehouse operations remain organized and efficient, and customer and job site needs are supported through reliable service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Move cabinets and materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment, including dollies, while maintaining product integrity.
  • Load cabinets and materials onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Unload cabinets and materials at job sites, including new construction homes, while ensuring proper placement and care of product.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites, vendors, and other locations as required.
  • Review delivery loads and verify accuracy against packing slips, pull sheets, or order documentation.
  • Pick up materials, trim, or accessories as needed to support job completion.
  • Assist with staging materials for upcoming jobs and maintaining organized warehouse inventory.
  • Support receiving processes, including checking in materials delivered by vendors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to support efficient operations.
  • Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures both on the road and in the warehouse.
  • Meet delivery schedules and timelines to support operational needs.
  • Work effectively in a team environment to support daily operational goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, delivery, or construction-related environments.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.
  • Experience with delivery documentation, including packing slips or bills of lading.
  • Experience using navigation tools or route planning software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Mobility: Frequently required to stand for extended periods and move throughout the warehouse or job site to access materials and equipment.
  • Positioning: Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently handles and moves materials using proper techniques and equipment.
  • Vision: Ability to visually inspect materials and identify quality differences.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.

Warehouse/Facility: Work is performed in a warehouse and shop environment with exposure to non-climate-controlled conditions (heat and cold), moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels.

Job Site/Field: May require work at job sites with exposure to outdoor conditions, seasonal weather, and varying terrain.

Operational Demands: Role may require meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment to support operational needs.

Safety: Requires adherence to all safety policies and use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
