$20.25 / hour

BASIC JOB FUNCTION:

Transport carts via air train truck from high return areas to high rental areas to ensure that carts are always available to customers. Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Move carts between the terminals using a pickup truck and trailer (class C license).
• Manually move carts throughout departures, baggage claim, garage, and rental car center to our cart collection areas (vending units or cart track).
• Adhere to cart replenishment inventory protocol for rental mechanized equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning of carts, CMU’s, EQR’s, cart tracks, locks, keys, and moving equipment.
• Learn and practice safe work habits thus assuring safety to self, co-workers, company equipment, airport property, passengers and visitors.
• General customer service to assist passengers navigating throughout the airport.
• Possess strong innate work habits and perform the job in an honest, reliable, and a professional manner.
• Effectively communicate with peers, maintenance and management to improve business operations.
• Able to withstand undesirable weather conditions (wind, rain, snow, extreme temperatures up to 115 degrees)
• Adaptable to operational change.
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years successful work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to safely maneuver truck and trailer.
• Open scheduling availability required, including weekends and holidays.
• Displays confidence and competence in fast pace environment.
• Comfortable speaking to the general public
• Ability to pass state, federal (FAA), Home Land Security clearance requirements and reference checks

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

• Ability to get an Airport Badge is required
• Drivers License is required, good driving history

PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
• Walk and stand for duration of shift
• Physical ability, manual dexterity needed to lift/push/pull a minimum of 75-100lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours a day.
