Driver Operations Manager (Acquisition)

Department: Market Operations & Supply

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Kazakhstan

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Driver Operations Manager (Acquisition) to lead and scale driver growth initiatives for our Intercity service. This role is responsible for building a sustainable and scalable supply acquisition engine, ensuring a consistent influx of new drivers through diversified acquisition channels and innovative growth strategies.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end driver acquisition strategy, from identifying and launching new supply channels to optimizing conversion funnels and driving activation performance. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Analytics and Local Operations teams to accelerate supply growth and deliver measurable business impact.

As a key contributor to the Intercity growth strategy, you will design and execute initiatives that improve acquisition efficiency, increase driver activation rates, and support long-term marketplace sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and scale driver acquisition channels for the Intercity service, ensuring sustainable and cost-efficient supply growth.
  • Build, launch, and optimize the agent-based acquisition model, managing external partners and expanding the agent network.
  • Design and develop referral programs to drive incremental driver acquisition and engagement.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Performance teams to execute data-driven acquisition campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Own and optimize the acquisition funnel from lead generation through driver activation and first trip completion.
  • Analyze channel performance and acquisition efficiency using key metrics such as acquisition cost, activation rates, and first-trip conversion.
  • Generate, test, and scale new growth hypotheses and supply acquisition initiatives.
  • Coordinate acquisition projects and execution plans with local operational teams across multiple markets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to improve acquisition performance.
  • Serve as a cross-functional partner, ensuring alignment between business objectives, operational execution, and market needs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Growth, Acquisition, Performance Marketing, Operations, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing user, driver, or supply acquisition funnels in high-growth environments.
  • Hands-on experience launching and scaling partnership, agent, referral, or community-driven acquisition mechanisms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including conversion funnel analysis, CAC/DAC metrics, cohort analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Advanced data skills with the ability to independently work with large datasets and write queries in SQL / BigQuery for performance analysis and channel evaluation.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Local Operations teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience in ride-hailing, delivery, marketplaces, or other supply-driven businesses is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners.
