What you'll be doing;
● Driving any vehicle supplied by Veolia, having received the relevant training
● Carry out and complete daily vehicle checks and daily defect books as instructed
● Be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition and report any defects to the Supervisor or Manager immediately
● Ensure that all loads are safe and secure by using sheeting systems provided as well as any fall arrest systems to get up, down and on top of the trailers.
● Report any accidents or incidents that occur during the shift immediately to the Supervisor or Manager and ensure that the relevant accident/incident report is duly completed and submitted for investigation.
● Ensure that all road traffic rules and regulations are adhered to at all times and that all parking restrictions are observed.
● Once driving duties are completed to assist with any other duties as directed.
● Ensure the correct completion and submission of tachograph uploads as per the
● company policy and procedures.
What we're looking for;
Essential:
● Class 1 licence
● Class C& E licence
● Time management
● Ability to work in a team or alone
Desirable:
● Previous waste industry experience
