Driver - £36,362.86 per annum + Driver performance related bonus of up to £2,100 per annum

Duties

We're on the lookout for HGV drivers with current ADR licence to help keep our retail customers happy and ensure the chemicals and ingredients used in everyday products, get safely to our customers, helping keep our communities healthy, fed, clean and safe. You will be required to Drive Category C and Category C+E and be required to drive both 26t and 44t vehicles as and when required. If you think you have what it takes, join our Transport team based in Middlesbrough. Our fleet are all DAF CF or Brand New XG fully automatic vehicles and benefit from everything you need whilst you’re out on the road.

We offer a competitive package (which includes a performance quarterly bonus), together with training and progression for those drivers who want to progress through their career with us.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Experienced in driving Rigid (Class 2) and articulated (Class 1) vehicles
• Communicating with our customers at their sites and providing a first-class service
• Ensuring the safe delivery of products to customers across the Univar Solutions Network including packed goods and Low Pressure Discharges of our liquid products.
• Complying with all safety processes, procedures, and legislation.
• Understanding, prioritising and escalating our customers' feedback and requests to our internal teams

We Are Looking For

• A UK resident and currently living in the UK, with the right to work in the UK (offer of employment is subject to satisfactory proof of this)
• Hold a current ADR licence and Driver CPC
• Care deeply about delivering a world class service
• Serious about safety and follow safety procedures
• Comfortable using and iPhone and mobile apps
