Below are some responsibilities and qualifications for the CDL- A Drivers Position.

Hourly pay will be $24.50 with an opportunity for overtime.

Shift:

  • M-F
  • Ability to work weekends and Holidays as needed
  • Routes start between 8a – 11p

Responsibilities:

  • Keep a detailed driver’s log or route sheet for mileage, stops, and cargo, or utilize the ELD system.
  • Maintain pickup and delivery schedules, meeting deadlines using software tools.
  • Ensure your vehicle and work area are clean and well-maintained.
  • Understand and follow all safety and security precautions and company policies.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.
  • Utilize all required cell phone applications effectively.
  • Demonstrate and adhere to safety and security precautions and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid Class A License and meet applicable DOT requirements for CDL.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience driving a tractor-trailer (semi) truck with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend with or without accommodation.
  • Must have the ability to work mandatory overtime that may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice.
